Log Still Distillery
Where Bourbon Began With a Log, a Fire, and Kentucky Grit
Hidden among the rolling hills of Gethsemane, Kentucky, Log Still Distillery isn’t just another stop—it’s a return to bourbon’s earliest heartbeat. This is where Kentucky whiskey remembers itself. Not polished. Not rushed. Just grain, fire, wood, and time.
Located at 225 Dee Head Rd, New Haven, KY 40051, Log Still stands on land soaked in whiskey history, honoring the Dant family legacy and the raw determination of Joseph Washington Dant, who began distilling in 1836 using a hollowed-out log as a still. No copper. No shortcuts. Just bourbon ambition carved straight from the frontier.
That same spirit fuels Log Still today.
Holding the historic DSP-KY-47, the Dant family’s fingerprint is etched into every barrel rolled across the floor. This isn’t borrowed heritage—it’s inherited.
Bourbon With Bloodlines
Log Still’s whiskey portfolio reads like a family tree—each branch rooted in Kentucky tradition, each bottle telling its own chapter.
